Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

If I have standard shipping, how long will it take to reach me. On my Amazon order it says Standard shipping (3-5 days) with a estimate date of Nov. 16- Nov.18. I thought that it would reach me on the release date. I never ordered blus/dvds from Amazon before.

You won't get it on release date. Amazon usually ships pre-orders a day before street date.

Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

$32.98 for Up and Monsters Inc. Blu...pulled trigger. I will be happy to pick up multiple copies as gifts for my family if it I find these titles for less in B&M stores because of coupons / store promos, but for a hassle free purchase (no time / gas used to drive to store)...I think it will be hard to find both titles for less than $16.50 each.

Have to admit that the price for the latest HP Blu is darn tempting...own the 1-5 box set, so might also order this one to own complete set of films to date. The prices for Blus on Amazon are nuts...gotta be making shareholders (like my parents) weep!

Hmmm, they now also have a promo code when you buy "Up"...DISNEYBD...that allows you to save $10 off a short list of Blu Ray titles...should I get "Bolt" or "Cars"? :-)

I canceled my order and went with UP!, Monsters Inc. AND Pinocchio on blu-ray for $42.97 shipped.

The DISNEYBD promo code ($10 if you order UP! and another Disney blu-ray on their list) does stack with the Monsters Inc and UP! promotional $10.

The DISNEYBD code also stacks with the Up/Monsters Inc deal. So you can get 3 movies total for about $45.

Picked up Up!, Monsters Inc. and Snow White for $47 shipped. Not bad at all.

I also canceled my order and reordered with UP!, Monsters Inc. and Pinocchio. It seems like almost every day some other promotion pops up with these -- it's hard to keep track.

What are the list of movies that we can use the DISNEYBD code for?

Ohhh man, I'd be all over this were A Bugs Life included! It's the only one I need

This has definitely been some fun keeping up with. Here's the link for the eligible titles for the extra $10 off.

Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

I love this thread...I wanted to get at least one other copy of UP as a gift for my Sister or Brother's family (they have kids), and I needed another copy of Snow White Blu, so $29.98 for UP and SW Blu w/DISNEYBD code...wonderful! Picked up two copies of Up, Monster's Inc., and SW Blu for $62.96, average of $15.74 each, even w/coupons or store promos, I suspect it will be hard to beat less than $16 for shiny new Disney Blus.

Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

With a $4 credit already on my account, I just ordered Up, Monsters Inc. and Sleeping Beauty for $40 shipped.

Sweet.

ETA: I just decided to throw caution to the wind and emailed asking if I was eligible for snow white thanks. I honestly did buy Snow White via amazon. If they do end up honoring it it, I will soil myself. If not, this is still an incredible deal.

Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

depends on where you live and where your order is shipped from. I 9 times out of 10 get mine on release date if they ship the day before release.
the one exception being starwars clone wars which did not ship till mid afternoon yesterday and was in my mail box today.
I live most of the year now in L.A. and usually my orders either ship from Vegas or Phoneix. and i only use the free shipping. When its my time of the year that iam in vegas then there have been a few occasions where it went out early in the morning like 1am or2am and i had it that same evening when the post off deliverd

Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

Oh my God.

When I saw you guys start talking about the latest code, DISNEYBD, I didn't read anything other than how if you buy Up with another Disney BD you get $10 more off, then glanced and saw that it stacks with the other $10 off when you buy Up and Monsters, Inc. together. I didn't see how it was select titles or anything, so I instantly went to the "Contact Us" page and emailed Amazon asking them to apply this new $10 off code. Once I came back and read the rest of the posts I noticed it was just for select titles, and figured for sure they would tell me just that, and that would have been fine. I just didn't know when I emailed them.

Well, they emailed me back. To my shock, they actually did it. So now my final combined total for Up and Monsters, Inc. on BD is just $17.48.

I just realized that there is a promo code "DISNEYBD" that gives $10 off your order if you buy Up with another Disney BD. Is there any way you can apply that code to my order for an additional $10 off? Please let me know, thank you so much!

Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

Update: Ordered UP! and Monsters Inc and sent the email asking for the Snow White thanks. They told me this:

"I've issued a $20 promotional certificate for your order ID, which you can use the next time you order an item shipped and sold by Amazon.com."

Today I canceled my order, got the UP!, Monsters Inc and Pinocchio deal ($42.97 shipped) and then used the $20 promo certificate for a $0.99 Sleeping Beauty blu-ray. Best Amazon promotion eVeR!

It keeps getting better. By release date, I fully expect to be paid to take these dvds.

Re: $10 off Up and Monsters, Inc. pre-order at Amazon

If you used the Snow White Thanks code, e-mail them to adjust your price for the price-match guarantee. My order of Up and Monster's Inc is down to $14 bucks and change. This is before I get the Monsters Inc. price adjust another $1.50. I fully expect the total price to be under $10 before release

Gave this a shot. No go on the additional $10 discount—but they did say I could request a $10 refund once the order ships. That works too. I did, however, also ask for the $3 price reduction on UP (to the current $19.99), which they granted. So the total at this point for those two sets is $24.48. I'll push again for the newer $10 discount tomorrow and see what happens. Based on the success people have had here emailing them multiple times, I'd imagine I'll hit paydirt sooner or later. (would be nice to get 'em both for $14.48!)
