I got one. Those aren't with the rest of the promo movies. They're stocked in the normal new releases location.

My store had copies with and without slips. I just ordered a second copy from Amazon (since I already have another BD to return to Walmart), so I'll save a dollar in tax returning this one, too. I was checking my Amazon order and it thought I was ordering a second, and it prevented me from doing so.

I bought one of the copies on the shelves of the Media Section, it came with one and it rang up the BF price.

Went to a different Walmart tonight with one of my friends who had to work earlier today. Picked up The Jungle Book, Blade Triple Feature, Road To Perdition and the Child's Play 2 & 3 Double Feature.

Thank you, all for for your response on the 'Jungle Book' availability with slip cover. Picked up the last copy at my local WM today for $9.96 and it came with a slip cover. Also picked up the online order of 'Captain America - Civil War 3D' for an awesome price of $7.96 !

A quick question for anyone with the experience. Can I return a Walmart.com order to a local Walmart for a refund?

Did anyone verify this or find out if there were any other 3D movies at this price?

Re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

I stopped by the Walmart in South Nashville near Lenox Village today and they still had lots of Blu-rays in stock. I didn't see Beauty and the Beauty, but I forgot to look for it. I have the previous edition of it on Blu-ray so I don't really need it. The displays were all jumbled up and you had to dig through them. I ended up getting How To Train Your Dragon 2 for $5.96. I know it was $2 cheaper at Best Buy, but they were sold out online and there's not one close to me. I would have to drive 10-20 miles away from where I live. They had plenty of copies of The Intern for $5.96 and I would have bought it from Walmart instead of ordering it from Bestbuy.com earlier this morning.

Yeah, FWIW, I just got back from grocery shopping, and my Walmart had a bunch of copies of the "big ticket" movies still sitting in their slots in the movie section. Honestly, the Disney side of the family movie kiosk didn't look like it had been even touched.

Dr. Who: Dark Water/Death in Paradise 3D was also on sale during BF, but was not interested in it. Picked up Minions 3D instead. Also saw Gods of Egypt 3D but it rang up at regular price.

Wow. I should have been checking this thread. Those are some great 3D prices. Sorry I missed it.

Some locations still have their Black Friday stock left in bins and ringing up at BF prices.

What has the experience been with Instawatch? I bought a disc and they never sent me a code. I contacted customer service but after "bumping me up" I never heard back from them.

The Instawatch system isn't perfect and often doesn't work correctly. Walmart has a nasty habit of not adding IW titles to their system until a couple of weeks after release date. If you enter your receipt before that point, you get nothing.

Re: Walmart / walmart.com discounts and deals on Blu-ray

If you want to redeem the Instawatch digital copy, you need to sign up for the Walmart Savings Catcher. You then add the store receipt for the movie you purchased on the app, and then you will be sent the redemption email in the email that you used to sign up for the Savings Catcher.

I've had 100% success with this method of redeeming the Instawatch digital copy.

The cool thing about this method is that you do NOT have to redeem the paper copy of digital copy code in the blu-ray itself (if the film comes with one). So you'll have an extra copy to either sell or give away to someone.

First attempt at Instawatch unsuccessful. Sounds like an iffy customer service route, will probably just return it.

I've had the same experience, with both in-store and online purchases.

Instawatch is a real mess. You have to know exactly what you are doing and realize even then it doesn't always work out.

I use this exact same method and it works every time. Recently I got The Family Man from the $6 bin and it didn't come with a digital copy. Scanned the receipt with Savings Catcher, and it popped right up on my VUDU account. You just have to remember to make sure you are using the same email address with both accounts and have them linked.
