So what's the deal with these 3 disc sets? Are they 3 individually boxed discs, or 3 discs in one box, or are all 3 movies crammed onto one disc? I'm guessing the picture quality is compromised if it's the latter. I'm actually interested in the AHX, History of Violence, and True Romance set, since I only have those on dvd.

Three discs in one case. Same discs that were originally released. If any of the titles were 2 discs, the disc with the special features is dropped.

If anyone buys the Hangover 1 & 2/Due Date, could you mention if the Hangover 2 is the movie only version? Thanks.

If you prefer the Extended versions, Target has them through today (if not out of stock, I suppose), for $30. Subtract the value of 3 $5 Hobbit ticket coupons (if you're going to the new film), and the cost is $15. Amazing. Of course, no extras except the 4 commentary tracks. I got these instead, because the transfers were supposed to be a lot better than the theatrical.

Thanks for the heads up on this! I really like these 3-packs. They always seem to be the regular disc releases - but in a space saving single case. I'll probably pick up the new Hangover + and Goonies + sets.

Not really -- at least concerning catalog titles from major studios. You might have to wait a couple years, but having a $6 limit seems reasonable to me.

Remember when there was the Star Trek 3 disc edition, Transformers 2 Big Screen edition, and G.I. Joe for $5 however many months ago? Back then I couldn't find them, but yesterday in the $5 DVD bin I found the Blu-Rays of Star Trek 3 disc edition and Transformers 2 Big Screen edition. So if you were looking for these but didn't find them back then you might want to look now and see.

Encountered my first Blu Ray dump bin yesterday, but didn't have the time to explore it properly. However, I did spot The African Queen (which I've wanted a dvd or Blu Ray of for a long time), and the $7.88 price wasn't bad, so I grabbed it.

Saw the Blu dump bin too in Portland, OR. Unfortunately, did not see African Queen. Mostly the usual junk in Blu format. Did see The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and some other newer titles I can't for the life of me now remember.
