That appears to be a new Criterion mix box at Costco. They tend to get boxes with a mix of 4 or 5 Criterion releases. Will pick up Don't Look Now next time I'm in there.

Frankly shocked to see a later Godard film at Costco. So much so, that I had to buy a copy. Which means I'm probably the first member to buy EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF at Costco.

Our Costco got the Criterion mix box as well. I missed it the first time when I was trying to find Don't Look Now since it was in the corner of the Blu-Ray display and the first couple were facing down. Anyway, found it and they were all mixed together (and of course all of the Don't Look Now's were in the back, so it was easy to miss).

Now I just need to find time to actually watch...by myself...because my wife rarely watches anything made before 1985, and really doesn't care for any horror movies. Oh well .

EDIT: skimming through some of the threads on bluray.com, it appears this was available earlier in 2014 at Costco for $9.99 and at some Dollar General stores for $6. Suddenly am not too excited about getting it, although Amazon wants $24.99

in the same vein as Band of Brothers and Pacific blus were 22ish around Christmas and are 27ish now. costco prices are apparently not always their best or locked in. i did not know that.

I just picked up the Watership Down BD. They also had Rashomon, Throne of Blood, and The Royal Tenenbaums. Add those to the list of Criterion selections available. At my store the Criterion selection was all on it's own end cap.

Is that the cheapest for this series?

The first season was going for $20 a few months back. Seasons used to hit $30 before HBO and retail stores decided to push the price point higher.

Yeah, I picked up S1 & S2 for $20 each. And I think S3 has been $30 before. But that is the cheapest S4 has been.

they had season one in some "bargain edition" that may not have included the dvd's recently for 18.99 but it is gone now.
