If you are having problems playing certain DVDs, be aware of RCE. I Talked to Panasonic DVD technicians. Creepy. They will play dumb about the coding "enhancement". They even tried to get me to send it in for $180 in repairs for something they KNEW was a disc encoding problem. They will accept no responsibility--believe me they know all about it. They know what to say, it's all scripted. There's a war going on between the player manufacturers and DVD disc companies, I think Warner and Columbia/Tristar...Does anyone know a bypass for a Panasonic DVDA120u? Don't want to buy a new player, but I will. Anyone know a Kick-butt player under $600 with few bells and whistles? Anyway...thanks in advance and BEWARE.
