Hi all - I just watched Glory (had seen it before) and have to say I was impressed by the movie, DVD and presentation. The picture-in-picture commentary was particularly interesting. As for the movie itself, great performances from Denzel Washington, Morgan Freeman and Matthew Broderick are the high points in a film with a very strong supporting cast. I enjoyed it immensely - any thoughts?

I highly recommend getting the Special Edition of Glory, this 2-disc set is chock full of cool extras, including both the widescreen anamorphic and fullscreen versions of the movie.

I agree too.. this is a DVD I was planning to get way back when I first got into this addiction.. er, I mean hobby.. but waited for this special edition I kept hearing about, glad I waited :)

Oh man I forgot this disc is even out. I was waiting for it to come out and forgot about its release or something. This is such a powerful and emotionaly Civil War movie, and it deserves such a good DVD. This'll probably be my next purchase, actually...
