I have decided that the only way to enjoy watching my PAL DVDs is by shooting my Apex and getting a TENLABS video converter or type device.

Mindlogic.com has many models that will convert PAL to NTSC, but I have no idea which one to get! They all sound similar. I just want to be sure I do not lose any more than a slight bit of quality AND, that the geometry stays the same. I do not want a 2.35:1 transfer looking 2.20:1 and stretched, like they do when my APEX converts PAL to NTSC.

The models are:

Tenlab TR-21 - $780
Tenlab TR-20 - $675
Tenlab TR-11SVHS - $690
Tenlab TR-10SP - $540

The url: http://www.mindlogic.com/CONV_TNLB.shtml

Does anyone have any idea how different these models are in the quality of converting PAL to NTSC. I don't mind paying the top dollar if there is an actual benefit. But if the difference in quality is not noticeable, then why bother?

I do believe that S-Video inputs/outputs are important, but if they won't aid in the conversion, then I can bypass that feature.

ANY advise is helpful! Thanks!
