I just want to get what experinces or any opinions anyone has or what they think of this receiver. I am upgrading from a JVC 888VBK.

Thanks,

Pat

I own the 555ES and have been very pleased with it. It provides plenty of power and makes my speakers sound very crisp and clear. I really don't have any gripes about this reciever, but if I was forced to nitpick then this would be my list: it runs a lttle hot so make sure it is in a place with good ventilation, the touch pad remote is useless, and there are a few things that can only be done on the remote and not the unit itself. The bottom line is I am very pleased with my purchase and wish you the best of luck with yours.

Zen,
Do you hear any hiss or noise? I saw at audio review where there were one or two posts like that. I see where you said the sound is clean and crisp. I should hear the sound between my old JVC and this right..

Thanks...

Pat

I too have the 555ES and I absolutely love it.
My gripes are the same as the other guys', The LCD remote is useless. Other than that, the ES line is fantastic.
I fully recommend it.

I have a 333ES, it is a great reciever. I haven't had a problem, but as was mentioned--keep it ventilated. The 333ES does not have touchpad remote, so it is a little easier to use, but it still can be a pain to learn.

Webbo,

Do you have any hiss. I see at audio review some complaints about hiss. What do you think.

Thanks,

Pat
