Hey

I have just got a daewoo ds-2000d dvd player, im not sure if this player is multi region or what, acualy i dont no nothing about it, im from scotland, uk so im gussing its a r2 but but thats all i no about it,

Im sorta new here so any help would be good,

pots, I have no idea what you're asking, but if the player is Region 2, I suggest you go out and buy some Region 2 DVDs at the local store and enjoy your new player. If you are looking to buy a region-free DVD player, search the web on "code free" or "region free" and you'll turn up a few sites to purchase from.

Hey, sorry, i should have made myslef more clear, what i am trying to ask is if my player supports other regions apart from region 2 and if it dosent is there a way i can make it play other region dvds,

It just shows you that those big bussnes make a load of stuff, i have a Mitsubishi phone as well as one of there tvs, :)

Warner and Columbia have recently added a Regional Coding Enhancement (RCE) to Region 1 titles so be carefull selecting your multi region DVD or basically you won't be able to watch some of the region 1 software..
