I remember reading that season 2 would become available in region 2 in May. Amazon.co.uk doesn't have it listed yet and I haven't been able to find pictures/specs for it anywhere. Does anyone have more info? Will it be the same cool case design as season 1, what extras will there be, etc.

Here’s a link for the region 4 set although we can be pretty sure the R2 will be the same with the exception of the packaging which has been reported of having the appearance of a book. so probably an X Files type box.

Due to an almighty price foul up, the R2 set can be had on line for as little as $60 for the whole season box.

Season 3 is pencilled in for November/early December

Hmm, tell me more about this price foul-up. I had forgotten that season 1 was only a half season and was about to go into sticker shock (12 vs. 24 episodes). The R2 packaging with the cross layout was very cool, I hope they stay with unique layouts such as that.

Also do you or anyone else have more pricing information available? The link you gave me had it only listed as to be determined.

Doing a little more digging myself, here's what I've come up with:

http://websites.cable.ntl.com/~fraxi...os/videos.html

These guys report 5/28/01 release for Season 2. 5 discs of 22 episodes, a 6th disc of extras. An "X-files" style set-up packaging wise. Four of episodes are expected to feature commentaries. Robin Sachs and Tony have allegedly recorded material already.

"Expected extras are ‘Designing BUFFY’ and ‘BUFFY Bestiary’ featurettes, original scripts, set design and monster galleries, updated cast biographies and trailers. Another ‘Watcher's Guide’ booklet should be packaged with the discs."

No signs of an MSRP.

Here’s the URL for a UK site that has it up for pre-order:

http://www.tesco.com/entertainment/entertainment.asp?
WCI=LeftBarAction&WCE=Item&ITEM=21412DVD&F=DVD

Suggest you cut and paste.

www.hmv.co.uk also list it but are not yet taking orders. There are a couple of other sites but their reputation for honoring mis-prices is very poor so the above two are your best bet. I phoned Fox in the UK who confirmed it was the full season in one set so this represents one of the best deals of the year as it stands.

Alright, so where do those of us that do not live in the UK get in on this action? I ordered the season 1 set from amazon.co.uk which was reasonable after a 3 pound coupon.

To answer my own question..

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005A0Z7

Shipped to the US comes to GBP36.96 or around $53. Now if I can just find one of those GBP3 coupons to cover shipping..

Buffy Price Increased

Amazon.co.uk now lists a price of a bit more than £60! Is this now the official price? Or just a temporarily mistake?
If not, those who ordered the Buffy Season 2 for only £35 are very lucky!

Correct price is now £75/$110. None of mine have changed price yet so I’m hopeful at least one or more sets will be honored at this low (£35) price.
