I was able to get an early look at Disney's "Coyote Ugly" special edition. I saw the film in the theater and found it okay, but nothing great. After watching it again on DVD, I've begun to appreciate it as the piece of fun cheese that it is.
The DVD though, holds some suprises that were not announced already. The disc has a DTS 5.1 presentation, and there's quite the commentary track. Although the commentary was originally announced as being director David McNally it's actually a "Coyote Commentary" - all 5 of the girls contribute a full-length track that's not terribly informative, but a lot of fun.
There's quite a few other extra features, as well. Overall, it's a mildly entertaining movie, but the DVD really has me excited that Disney might actually be truly turning things around in DVD - it's a very, very nice disc.

Sheleve it next to Show Girls if you buy it.

I didn't think it was that bad!!! I figured it would be all "eyecandy," but there was a semi-decent plot there, revoling around the girl moving out, following her dream, and falling in love with that guy...a lot less of the bar than I imagined...
