I was debating whether to include "Ghostbusters 2" on my next order of Columbia House membership DVD's.

How's the movie, the transfer, and the extras???

It has been awhile since I viewed this, but from what I remember...the transfer is about the same as the first which in my opinion decent. As far as extras....not many..

Filmographies, Interactive Menus, Theatrical Trailer, Production Notes, Scene Access

The first had much more.....

Audio Commentary, Featurette, Interactive Menus, Multiple Angles, Photo Gallery, Production Notes, Story Boards, DVD-ROM Features, Deleted Scenes, Theatrical Trailer

Look for a re-release of both due to the fact that both are non-anamorphic transfers!!!

I know for a fact that the first Ghostbusters DVD is anamorphic. I have the first but according to the IMDB, the second one is also anamorphic...and full-screen but who cared about that.

I know Ghostbusters 2 isn't loaded with extras but it was going to be part of my next Columbia House shipment. It is a great movie.

Ghostbusters: an all-time favorite

Ghostbusters 2: 1 of the worst movies I've ever seen.. There are about 2 laughs. It must've cost more than the original but I think the special effects look much worse. I dislike the whole look & feel of the movie. Very uninspired. Yuck.

What is the benefit of a DVD that is anamorphic as opposed to one that isn't?

I wonder why the packaging does not indicate anamorphic???
