I pre-ordered this baby, but it's gonna take a while, with Amazon and the CRAZY holiday shipping...
So, if anyone has gotten theirs, can you tell me what the transfer's like on this 1974 film?

Got mine Saturday from buy.com. I've just tasted a bit of it, but the transfer looks great and even the menus are kind of fun. I'm really looking forward to the director commentary for this one - and Hackman rules! (Can't wait for french connection)

I got my DVD yesterday & not only did I watch the excellent film, I also listened to both audio commentaries & they're both very good. I especially enjoyed listening to Coppolas commentary. He came off much more interesting, modest & humane than the overblown megalomaniac that he's always portayed as being.
