Cecil is ok. It has some good stuff, some weak stuff, if you like Waters check it out. One thing about him that I like is that over the course of 30 years of filmmaking he hasn't improved his skills one bit. Although, the ones i'm really looking forward to are Mondo Trasho and Polyester.

Way of the Gun was very disappointing. it starts out with some hysterical humor and quickly becomes a boring, plodding look at a bunch of humorless people doing stupid things. they didn't utilize the cast well at all. for example, Nicky Katt and Taye Diggs, two of my favorite actors, appear as partners, but they don't do anything interesting. what a letdown

Way of the Gun has VERY forced dialogue. The dialogue can be funny and interesting, but unlike Pulp Fiction, it rarely comes off as natural. Lots of posturing (Benicio Del Toro), too. It tries a bit too hard to be cool.
Still, it's worth a rental. The opening is hysterical.
