DVD Talk Hero - 2023 TOTY Award Winner
I know the editor of the site that I write reviews for mailed out a copy to one of the reviewers last week but it does not appear that the review has been posted yet. Hopefully soon. I'll post a link when I see it come up.

Besides the Great "Discreet Charm", there is a 1970 25 minute documentary "The Survivor on Providence Street" on the first disc & a brand new 105 minute documentary "A Proposito de Bunuel" on the second disc. I for one can't wait for this disc to come out. I'm really lucky too b/c "Discreet Charm" is playing at a local cinema with a brand new transfer starting tommorow 11-24 to 11-30.

I just saw this film, this afternoon, on the BIG SCREEN, & I had forgotten Just how FFFFFFin funny & great it is. I laughed my derriere [sic] off 10, 15, 20 (who's countin'?) times.
If you like spoon fed movies, where the traditional plot is one that everyone can understand & agree on what happened, this one AINT for ya. But if you like surreal films w/out a traditional story line, where dream & reality starts to merge, & you can't see where the film is going next, I highly recommend this film. ALSO, BUY BUY BUY this DVD. It is on two discs & it includes two documentaries, one from 1970 & a brand new one. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!
cheers, Tony Block
