1998's Broken Vessels is director Scott Ziehl's vision of the horrors of drug abuse. Grand Prize winner at the LAIFF, Broken Vessels is not the strongest independent film I have ever seen but it does succeed in being pretty engaging. It features a pair of very strong performances from its leads, Jason London (Dazed and Confused) and Todd Field (Eyes Wide Shut).

The disc presents in letterboxed 1.85:1 and relatively light on extras.
