Am wondering if anyone has seen the DVD of this film, and if so, would you recommend buying it?
(I like the movie, but only saw it in the theatre)

It's a bare bones release. It doesn't have any extras like a commentary track, or documentary & the transfer is full-frame, although I think that that it is an open matte presentation & not a P&S version. The image is also a little grainy but given the age & financial restraints imposed on this film, it looks fairly good. For example, the colors are sharp & don't bleed. I've been told that the Anchor Bay videotape is letter-boxed. Bottom line is, if you like this film it is the best presentation you'll get until Anchor Bay acquires, if they haven't already, the rights on DVD and does somrthing special with it.
