MGM left off the DD soundtrack? Man, that's silly.
Anyway, I've never seen the MGM DVD so I can't comment directly. However, looking at the past reissues, the video transfer has been the same identical one Polygram uses -- video quality should be a tie between the 2 editions.

MGM has been adding full-motion menus to these DVDs, but with questionable results. I feel that the menu they did for FOUR WEDDINGS & A FUNERAL didn't match the tone of the movie at all. Also, the menus that they added to USUAL SUSPECTS gives away the end of the film.
