Kumar J,
The transfer is very good. The movie suffers from the sequel blues. It is not bad, but it is not as consistantly funny as Friday. All in all, if you liked Friday you will likely enjoy Next Friday.

This was much better than the first film. Next Friday didn't need Chris Tucker. It was perfect w/o him.

Just didn't seem complete w/o Chris Tucker

Agreed. Well worth seeing but it would be hard to top the original.

I'm a little confused about that statement above

It can't be Friday without Chris Tucker(maybe Saturday, possibly Sunday, but definitely not Friday). I still enjoyed it, but not nearly as much as the original. Let's just put it this way. I've seen Friday at least a dozen times. I bought Next Friday when it came out, and only watched it once.

I agree, this was about as funny as a Martin Lawrence movie. But I rented the dvd and it's great with some cool menus and nice features.

I recommend picking it up, I personally think it's better.
There is more of the dad, which is who I found truly funny on the first Friday, so I was pleasantly suprised.
