I have done my usual search of all the
major review sites and have yet to find
a review for this 4-DVD box set produced
by the BBC.
If anyone has seen this set or knows of
a site that has a review of this set, could
someone point me to it?

I have the set and love it. Very informative and well put together. Loaded with all the latest information available about the solar system. The BBC used a nice mix of computer animations and photos from among other things the Hubble to create a possible picture of the solar system and give theories as to its origins. Well worth the price for someone that loves documentaries about outer space.
