Review Wanted: The Spy Who Loved Me OOP

Ah, another useful comment by Nyquil. Thanks for the eloquent input.
The Spy Who Loved Me is awesome. It (along with For Your Eyes Only) are by far the best of the Roger Moore Bond films. Some very cool chases, that famous parachute ski jump opening, the best Bond song. I'm really looking forward to it; it's the only one of set 2 that I'm really excited about getting. I would agree with the previous post; don't get the OOP edition unless it's REALLY cheap or you just love full screen transfers. The SE copy coming out on 5/16 will have the same anamorphic transfer, many interesting features, amazingly cool menus, and will only be missing the full screen version.

Well, I just got it in a trade for a title I really didn't care for. Now I guess I'll watch it and find out for myself. Groucho, thank you for your input (seriously, if I had intended on buying the OOP at auction without being aware of the SE, your post would've helped a lot, so I do appreciate it. Decker, the same goes to you. Thanks for your review. And Nyquil, that wasn't quite what I was looking for.

It appears that the promotional featurette about the opening of a new studio at Pinewood is absent from the new DVD. I suppose that footage may be incorporated into either one of the documentaries, but completists may want to take note.
