Just got this a day ahead of street (from softwarebuys). Had wanted to see it because my wife and I are hockey fans. Weren't expecting much, but we were both pleasantly surprised.
1) Russell Crowe is terrific as is most of the cast including Burt Reynolds who plays the judge/coach.
2) The disc is kind of light on the extras and I didn't take the time to go through them.
3) The transfer appears to have been done very well and the sound is excellent.
4) It's an old story but it's done very well.

Though a similar story/theme, the ending is somewhat of a surprise...The underdog actually LOSES!
This is good enjoyable film that made for a terrific evening. It's not a masterpiece, but it's good entertainment.
