What do you think about this movie? I am happy to see it is DTS, and hope to see more DTS titles. Thanks for your input.

This remains the worst movie I've had the misfortune to see in a theater in years. The whole thing was absurd. I hated it.

That's the short version.

I didn't hate it as much as Nathan, but I agree that its not a good movie. There were several thing in it that were just absurd. It is similar to movies liek Silence of the Lambs and Seven without as much depth or story. Overall I would recommend renting before buying on this one.

A complete waste of time as far as the story is concerned. I thought the sound design was impressive, though. Looks like a nice DVD. I just wish studios would lavish the same kind of attention on more deserving movies.

Anybody remember the "Emergency Bed Mode"?

Thanks for the advice, I will definitely rent! I have read similar reviews elsewhere. With the sucess of the DTS version of SPR, I really pray we will get some of the GREAT movies on DTS.

I agree that it was a notch below "Se7en" and "Silence of the Lambs", but I still felt it was a good film overall. It had some solid performances from the actors and the story kept my interest throughout.

In addition, Universal once again provides us with a top-quality DVD . . . the picture and sound are DA BOMB!!!

According to dvdfile, this disc has DD 6.1 (yes SIX) sound! Does anyone have a DD 6.1 processor? .

I enjoyed it. I love Angelina Jolie and the DTS sound was excellent.

The DTS sound was excellent, especially chapter 6...

Nice to use when testing a system.

The movie however was so-so...Glad I got a great deal on it, but the sound was great to test my new home theater install.

It wasn't the best movie I've ever seen, but I enjoyed it. I thought the performance by Washington was really good. The DVD though is packed w/ enough extras (and the multiple tracks) to make it worth it though IMHO...

The movie doesn't look great, but I think I'll have to rent it to try out my new DTS receiver (it's the only movie at the local blockbuster with DTS).

I enjoyed the movie. Don't think too hard and just sit back and enjoy it. I'm glad I bought this one.

Yes, story wise, I also thought that this was a terrible movie. Avoid with all cost.
