The Sean Penn film, BAD BOYS, I noticed on the DVD package the running time is 104 minutes. When this film played in the theatres and cable, it was 2hrs and 2 minutes. then when THORN/EMI videos released it on video in 1984, they released a 104 minute version, as that was a British print, so it got recalled pretty quickly and released the 2hr 2 minute print. Then It came out on Image laser as 2hrs and 2minutes.

But Lumiere videos got the rights to the film in 1992, and just used the old 104 minute British print for their laser and video relase. So I am worried, does anybody know if the DVD that got released is it the cut version? Its a shame if it is, so if someone could please tell me, that'll be very appreciative.

I haven't actually seen the DVD, but my understanding (from discussions when it was first released) is that it is the cut version, not the 2hrs + version.
