Found this story at IGN.com, thought it may interest some (most) of you.
"Kenwood had a mouth-watering media machine on display, a massive 400-disc changer that can handle just about any shiny five-inch disc you slap in it. The device plays DVD, DVD Audio, CD, CD-RW and MP3 CDs all in the same device. The progressive scan output board is being designed for Kenwood by Faroudja and will show true glorious progressive images. Hook this baby to a computer and it can access the CD Database (CDDB) and instantly pull down title, artist and track information for you automatically. It also comes with a wireless keyboard that acts as a system remote. For the completely over-media-saturated, three of these changers can be linked together to assemble a 1200-disc media monster. The Kenwood rep we spoke to told us that it should ring in at around $1000, but wasn't sure when it would launch."

The features sound great except I just know it is going to be silver and have that butt-ugly kenwood face to match the rest of their other new gear. Am I the only one that doesn't like the look of their outer space styling. I prefer the black boxes to match the rest of my gear. I hope the rest of them (pioneer, sony, onkyo etc...) follow suit with similar products.
