I recently hooked my DVD player up to my Sony 36" XBR250 using component video. I'm using 75 Ohm cables (albeit cheap generic ones), and I've recalibrated the set twice. However, when I watch movies I will occasionaly get one or more narrow (usually yellow) bands of color stretching across the screen. This ONLY happens with component video. Will better cables make this problem go away, or is it my TV. If it's the TV, can the problem be taken care of via the service menu? Or any other way for that matter? The picture is incredible using component video, but these color bands are driving me insane.

"XBR250 COLOR BANDING PROBLEM
If you have a XBR250 and you're experiencing horizontal blue, green or red banding across the screen with a component video connection, you will need to enter service mode and adjust the HOSC parameter. Initially HOSC is set to 7 (factory default), you'll need to change it to about 11 - this will eliminate the color banding in the picture."
