Just got my inbox hosed by 67 eamils from best buy each telling me U571 is backordered!!!! Do they think I ordered that many, or did I get the emails for all of you out there who won't be getting it thanks to their wonderful "order fullfilments". Strange?!?

let's just hope that they don't ship/charge for each confirmation.
i already called to check, and thankfully only one authorization has been posted. lastly, the authorization didn't reflect that i'd used the $20 GC, so hopefully it will post a $20 credit (a la buy.com.)
LOL. 14 email confirmations of shipping for my ONE order for the james bond #3 set. What's worse, I tried to return to a local BB the From Dusk 'Til Dawn single that they shipped instead of the box set. The order number on the receipt they sent was wrong. It came up as The Negotiator (for $9.99) instead of FDTD even though FDTD was printed on the receipt. I went back to the web site and printed the order's receipt that had a different order number. Hope that one's right.
These guys need some computer help!

Had the same problem trying to return my DTD single disk. They said the computer said that the item was not returnable at the store, and I should go home and call BB on-line customer service. Taking into account that I'd already put in over 30 mins at that point, and having seen the commercials that are airing here in CA that claim the return process for on-line purchases to B&M are "easy", and the fact that I'd called BB on-line to cancel the order and was assured the single movie DVD wouldn't ship (this was shipped 10/18) I refused to leave without my refund. After another 20 mins, another "manager" came to the desk and said there was a problem with the system. I was then offered a BestBuy store credit on one of those gift cards. With Christmas coming, I'm sure I'll have occasion to use it up.
So if you haven't returned your disc yet, and have a problem when you get there, you may want to ask about just getting a store credit and saving yourself some time & trouble.
