Question about Panasonic 5-DVD Carousel Player

I've been happy with my single-disc Panasonics and I'm considering this one. I want to know this, however: will it provide audio when DVDs are watched in 2X mode? I really like that feature in my other Panasonics and want to know for certain this one (the DVD-CV50) does it as well. Thanks!
