Help me please! Sometimes I want to watch a movie in the standard version, but I don't know how to switch layers of a dual layered disc. I am buying dual layered discs just for to watch the standard version but don't have a clue! Help me please! I have a Sony DVP-S360

Uh...if this post is real, then your answer is: "do nothing - the layer change is automatic. In fact, with the Sony player, when the layer change happens you might see a pause in the movie (usually about halfway through)".

Switching layers is not a manual process. It will automatically happen when and if necessary.
It seems to me like you might be asking about dual-sided dvds, which have to be manually flipped in order to play the content on the opposite side.
If the discs you buy have a widescreen side and a standard side, they'll be labelled on both sides. Then you just choose which version you want and put the disc in with that label facing up*.
Please let me know if this answered your question, or if you need more info.

*Some, but very few, dvds work the opposite way -- you'd have the label facing down.

I bought my daughter the The Toy Story 2 pack. Toy Story2 is a dual layered disc that you change from Standard to Widescreen in the DVD menu itself.
I know that I have more that are like this but I can't remember which ones.
Hope this helps

Harman Kardon DVD50 DVD Player, AVR510 A/V Reciever.
Infinity Speakers: RS5 Towers, CC3 Center, BU2 Sub, RS3 Rears.

If I understand his post correctly....he is looking to watch the full screen version of a movie!!! Unless this version is available on the disc, you are unable to do so!!! From the beginning of the movie as in Toy Story 2, you have the option of selecting full or wide screen!!! Not all dvds have this feature and only offer the widescreen version.....many Warner discs have each version on side a or side b of the disc which means you need to physically place this disc on the appropriate side!!!
