retain programmed recording info if the power goes out. I don't know if this is a standard feature or not on most VCRs now. But I'm a college student who started watching video on DVD. I've never been in the market for a VCR before and my mom's just broke. I've been trying to sell her on a TIVO but she's kinda set in her ways. Any info would help... Thanks.

Also, I'm looking for something in the $100-$150 price range. Hope that's helpful...
