I want to get a CD recorder to move my vinyl
collection to CD, as many of the albums are approaching 30 years in age. This Hitachi
caught my eye, as it is a combi DVD player,
CD recorder. The specs and features list
is very impressive. I can find it at buy.com and etronics.com for $699 and $589 respectively. I have read a mixed review from David Ranada at Sound & Vision. While he says that the DVD performance is first rate, he also says that the digital to digital recording capability is not bit accurate. Despite this, I'm still considering.
Please provide any input you may have from use of this component, or alternatively any other Hitachi DVD player. Thanks.
