I wonder if they will get Kate McKinnon or the regulars who do characters on WU or they are probably busy on other projects or on vacation.

Nice to see Bill Hader.
Keenan Thompson as usual has nothing to do outside of SNL.

But that movie came out in 1997 lol.
Sucks it will be preempted this week because of a SF GIants game.
I don't get Cozi on Directv so I can't watch it.

Even Kel has a Nick show.
Without a Trump presidency, I doubt they have enough material to do this, but with things as they are, there's a lot to parody.

Everybody shat on Fey when she was lead writer, but I do miss those days.

I remember and people here thought SNL sucked when Poehler, Samberg, Hader, Sudekis, Armisen, and Seth Meyers were part of the cast.

Scientists have concluded that the worst cast of SNL is always the current one and the best is whoever was on the show when you were 16.

Re: SNL Weekend Update: Summer Edition (NBC)
SNL always has talented people it's just has a crazy Producer who still has everyone on the same schedule as the cast in 1977,and that schedule was set up because most of them were drugged out of their minds. It's basically a show that has always been hit or miss with the sketches, SNL is never as bad as you think it is currently, and it's also not as good as whatever year in their childhood people are nostalgic about the show.

The Wiig, Hader, Fey, Poehler, Sudekis, Kenan, Armisen, Samberg, Meyers era is gonna go down as one of the classic casts in SNL history.

I think people romanticize the talent and remember the great sketches, so almost any era can be redeemed. But even on a good SNL show, the misses outnumber the hits, with so many rambling, aimless sketches that are thankfully forgotten as time goes on.
Although if you were 16 in the Charles Rocket era I'd love to hear your defense of that.

I had a lot of those 2001-2008 SNL shows saved on my dvr when they aired on VH1 Classic and they still bring me laughs.
Did Che and Jost reallly eat that cake that Tina Fey had during her monologue?
