Prediction: Weird stuff. Dougie looks on vacantly. Something happens in Twin Peaks. Log log log!

Great episode! It appears Dougie is about to snap out of it, but I wonder what will bring him back to full Cooper? Also, I hope Bobby and Shelly get back together. She always chooses the wrong guy.

Excellent episode. I think this is what most people wanted/expected from the entire series, but personally, I'm glad the show isn't laser-focused on relationship drama (Shelly, Bobby, Becky, and everyone), but it's good to see some of that here.
Everything with the casino brothers is great. Candie is hilarious.

I'm not expecting more episodes like this, but it sure wouldn't hurt to have them. I've enjoyed pretty much everything up to this point.

I'm actually expecting more of them to be plot-oriented from this point on to resolve some of the hanging issues. But, I'm hoping for another season too.

This was great. It's wonderful to see Twin Peaks back in Twin Peaks. And it seems like while the Dougie stuff is still dragging on the Vegas storylines seem to be done (sans Sizemore).

Sad that Bobby and Shelly are estranged.

At this point, I think the earlier predictions of Cooper not being agent Dale Cooper until the last two / three episodes will come true. Which still blows. It's a shame that Lynch has wrote himself more screentime than any of the regular cast.

After episode 8 there's likely no chance in hell of this happening.

I liked the Twin Peaks stuff and the FBI/hobo stuff, but even I'm getting sick of Cooper not being Cooper. Let's get him back in the action!

The scene with the sick girl in the car is one of the most disturbing things I've seen in a long time. That whole sequence was exceptional.

This was a much better episode than we've had in a while. It was nice to see more of Shelly and Bobby and Twin Peaks in general. It seemed to pick up the pace a little bit. I could probably watch an entire episode of The Log Lady talking and Hawk reacting to her words. Anyway, my only gripe at this point is Cooper still acting like a buffoon, but my hope is that will change soon.

It was also nice to see the other Hayward daughter (even though she is apparently a homewrecker).

The person that Becky's husband Steven is having an affair with is Gersten Hayward (Donna's little sister, played by Alicia Witt).

Also... it really looked like Mädchen was doing her own stunts in that scene with the car.

Did you get that from the credits, or did I miss it in the dialogue?

They show Gersten (Alicia Witt) hiding in the stairs with Steven after Becky shoots the door. Alicia Witt played the character on the original series.

I remember the scene, but I didn't recognize the actor.

OK. Well... I know who Alicia Witt is and I know she was on the show originally, so that's how I knew. It was in the credits as well though.

This will be a show to binge once it's finished. So much going on with so many storylines in an hour.

Nice episode. Dougie is now friends with those mobsters, I assume they'll figure the other guy lied an take him out.

Another highly entertaining ep. Always sad when it's over but thrilled for having seen it. Love the Mitchum brothers and the chemistry of Belushi and Knepper which reminds me a lot of old school Horne bros. That whole half of the ep had me grinning. The exuberance with which they greet the cherry pie and Coop's "Damn good" was so awesome. Add in the jackpots lady and the piano music and it was pure joy to watch.

I was excited by the mention of Big Ed's, but disappointed we didn't go there.

I seem to remember just before this series was announced David Lynch was using Twitter asking if anyone knew where Everette McGill lived. I hope he tracked him down and has him in this.

The Brigg's family drama taking up the first half of the episode was outstanding, from the phonecall, to the car ride, the RR scene, leading to the gunshots and the sick kid freakiness.

Not really a show spoiler but,
Spoiler:
Yeah, Lynch managed to get a phone number for a house that McGill owns. Empty house where he keeps some vintage cars. He happened to be there one day, and suddenly the phone started ringing... and it was Lynch, telling him that they were going to do Twin Peaks and he was wondering if he was in.
McGill told this story at SDCC this weekend.

So, presumably... Big Ed should be in the next episode or two.

I think it's safe to assume Big Ed will show up at some point.
