One second Kim is driving & the next... she isn't. Had to go back & rewatch that around 3x it was very odd.

Damn, Jimmy is a cold bastard. I am now really interested in the Chuck stuff. I want to see him fight his firm.

The crash was foreshadowed earlier in the episode and it was nicely done.
I liked the jump cut. We saw the crash from her perspective (except not in first person view)... she's driving and then she's woken up in a crash.
What I didn't get was why Jimmy never helped her out previously with the Mesa Verde stuff since he couldn't practice law. He could've taken a lot off Kim's plate all on the down-low, without having to meeting with anyone. There's a lot of reading, researching and preparation that Kim does - and Jimmy could've easily taken a lot of pressure off. If Kim told him about the new client, he could've helped her there as well.

Remember she was taking that five minute nap in her car a few episodes back. The writers are toying with us given that we don't know what happens with her during BB time.

In the scene just before the drive with Jimmy trying to tell her about the settlement and completely ignoring the fact that she was obviously trying to rush out the door I kept thinking, why doesn't he just offer to drive her? It's not like he had anywhere else he needed to be and they could talk the whole drive. He could tell her about his news, she could practice her presentation with him, go over her notes, etc. But I guess now we know why.

Yeah, as I was watching Kim drive, I thought 'Oh shit, she's going to fall asleep.' Then BOOM!
It's weird, with Chuck. While I keep thinking 'How does it feel, you prick?' I'm also hoping he takes down the firm.
Jimmy was one cold son of a bitch this episode. So did they officially agree to the offer, or is Jimmy celebrating prematurely?
Damn! One episode left. Should be plenty going on in the finale.

I love how as much as everyone hated Chuck and loved Jimmy, I had a feeling they were going to turn them both at some point. As horrible as Chuck is, Jimmy going to insane lengths to make an old woman be hated by all her friends so he can profit off of it is so much worse.
As much of an asshole as Hamlin is, nothing he said to Jimmy was wrong.

Really liked the way "Saul" used psychological warfare to turn the old ladies against Irene. New shoes and a rigged Bingo game.
Also cracked up at the scene where Mike was waiting to medt Lydia at Madrigal and a guy went zipping by on a Segway. Made me laugh for some reason.

Jimmy could possibly work for her as a paralegal or clerk, the rules for what a suspended lawyer is allowed to do vary by state. This would have obviously been helpful to her as she took on the new client. Then again, Kim had made it very clear that their professional lives needed to remain separate.

Well we certainly learned a lot about the future here. We now know why Jimmy gets banned from elder law, and it is unlikely he ever sees a cent.
Anyone notice Kim drove past Los Pollos Hermanos?

Yeah, that cut scene scared the crap out of me. Incredibly well done.
If Jimmy hadn't tried to corner Howard, I guess there's a chance he would have just thought the client wanted to settle, but now it's just so obvious.
The woman who played Irene really did a great job.

One line of dialogue was very interesting to me. Lydia mentioning that Gus was so much more than a drug dealer. Hmm.

yeah, he's not a dealer, he's a distributor and as seen in a scene earlier this season with Gus and Lydia, she knows he's looking to be an American manufacturer of it.

HHM may need their share of that settlement money to pay off Chuck now. His vendetta against his brother caused HHM's insurance problem but he'd rather sue whoever than take responsibility for anything he does. The first people he's taken to court since getting "better" are Jimmy and now HHM. The same and only people who supported him when he was sick. Chuck is still a prick.
The accident with Kim was beautifully done. Suddenly there's an airbag and minor confusion. Knowing that she almost died because she works too hard could have a profound impact on her.
