Watched it on Showtime. At a certain point in the movie, it just became ludicrous that he was able to hide out for months while not being discovered by his family or anyone else as a man living in his own detached garage's attic, ten feet from his family house. He spies on his wife and family standing above them from the attic window looking down on them. Then he's somehow able to roam about as a homeless looking man in his neighborhood and no one recognizes him? Also, him being able to survive for that long scrounging through garbage cans for thrown away food stretches credibility. Why did no one ever happen to glance up and catch him out of the corner of their eye? Why did the cops only visit the house once, and, why didn't they search the property? The guy was in the freakin' attic! Lastly, the ending was lazy as it essentially provides none and let's the audience decide what happened. The whole premise of the movie became preposterous to be taken seriously, which is a shame because Cranston gave a decent performance.
