Just caught last week's episode. Why...why do they keep bring back Fish?? Let her die for good already.

Now that they've revealed it's Alexander Siddig as "Ra's Al Ghul", we'll now have to see how much of a role he'll play in the finale, or if this is something that will be bigger in the season to come.

Aside from the pointless Fish Mooney nonsense, I thought these two were a very strong end to what was generally solid season. Looking forward to season four, though I can't help but feel this would have made a pretty good series finale.

The problem with shows like this where the dead continue to pop back up alive, is that when a character dies it has no impact as you assume they'll eventually make a return.
And... that reveal of who Butch is. =O

Just because it's live action doesn't make it any more real or credible than the source material.

After watching this show for three years, I've come to the conclusion that Batman would be totally unnecessary in Gotham City.
He would just do what Jim Gordon's been doing all this time:
Battle the Supervillains, capture them, throw them in jail or Arkham where they'll escape, wreak havoc again, Gordon captures them again, etc, etc.
Batman wouldn't add anything new to this cycle, especially since he doesn't kill. There's really no point for his existence as Gordon is basically performing the same actions as Batman would just as effectively (or ineffectively in some others' opinion).
I would have preferred Gotham to have slowly develop their villians instead of rushing these characters to be who they are when they would meet up with Batman in the comics. Then you could show how this new group of Supervillains are different that what Gordon has encountered in the past, thus the need for someone like Batman to deal with them.
I know they're moving slowly on developing Catwoman's persona and even Penguin had a long arc into what he would become, but that's more the exception.

I would have been quite content if this were a series finale. We'll see where it heads next season.

When they had Butch on the gurney, one medic showed the other his file, "This is Cyrus Gold, not Butch Gilzean."
Cyrus Gold = Solomon Grundy
As was said, this was a solid end to a pretty (80%) solid season.

Ra's Al Ghul in Gotham, Ra's Al Ghul in CW, Ra's Al Ghul in DCEU is bound to happen. Doesn't DC have any "big bads" other than Ra's Al Ghul and Darkseid? At least bring in Vandal Savage to mix things up.
Butch is Solomon Grundy? I think the good Doctor will be paying him a visit...
So was that Bruce on the roof or the clone?
This show succeeds on the talent of its supporting cast. The leads, Ben McKenzie and David Mazouz just aren't that interesting. I find Bullock to be a much more interesting character than Gordon.

IDK. Last I remember with him was that they said he didn't have long to live and that he had served his purpose.

I honestly don't care anymore. Gordon is a scumbag murderer while Bruce is a sociopath complicit in a serial murder.
This show is all about the criminals. Even the good guys are criminals.

@ the Fish Hate. GTFOH with the bullshit. She's the "Captain Cold" of Gotham with one liners, attitude, and delivery. Totally fun character.
Barbara is useless and corny but I never see people groaning about her. Yeah, she took over Gotham's crime world.

Great series season finale. With any luck that is the last we will see of Fish and Barbara In their place we get Solomon Grundy, Ra's, and the real Catwoman! Sadly I think it's all but a given that we will just get more and more Bruce toying with becoming the Bat until the actual series finale.

an ok season finale with deaths which didn't impact as much as they should have
