Is Dominic Purcell being written out? I know he's got Prison Break to do, but I figured he could do both series.

Well, there goes the Arrowverse...

Kind of cool seeing most of the Arrowverse villains team-up.

Interesting plot- The Spear of Destiny inspired Tolkien to write LotR. I knew they were going to bring more Jesus stuff into it eventually- this has been used a lot in past DC stories.

Good episode. Nice to have Snart back and look forward to seeing what happens with Mick. J.R.R Tolkien felt kind of wasted though. I won't lie, I'm starting to kind of like Rip Hunter. Looking forward to seeing what happens in the next couple of episodes.

As long as they keep Rip in his current secondary role he can stay on the team. He wasn't written well enough to be LOT's lead character when he was the ship's captain.

I chuckled when Darhk called them the "legendary idiots."

I was hoping against hope that Mick would show up in The Flash's musical episode. That would have been hilarious.

I was really hoping for a Blakes 7 thing with Rip for the whole series. I do agree he's less annoying as not-Captain.

Wow, that mission was a disaster.

Not really surprised that Mick reverted back to being a villain. He always felt like an outsider on the Legends. I will miss his smart ass remarks to the other Legends.

Purcell and Miller filmed Prison Break last summer after Legends 1st season wrapped. It's been long in the can.

Some nice references in this one including the expected "one does not simply walk into...". My favorite though was Nate's saying he played Burt in Mary Poppins on being told his accent was horrible.

I bet his turn to the dark side is short lived.

Felt it was pretty good until Canary handed Mick the spear ... huh? More weak writing? But the (temporary) Doomverse looks to be fun (from the image of their DoomHQ).

Re: DC's Legends of Tomorrow (S2E15) -- "Fellowship of the Spear" -- 3/21/17

Its only a matter of time until the Legion of Doom runs out of beer and Mick returns to the Waverider. Don't think Reverse Flash is going on beer runs so Mick can hang out.

Seriously though I felt they underplayed (i.e. completely ignored) how much he had bonded with Haircut as his new partner in past episodes. I don't think Ray even said anything to him when he betrayed them. I guess there'll be time for that when they inevitably lock Mick in the cell and talk to him one by one...again.

Did I miss something or is there a reason they can't just go to different time periods and shot parts of the spear into any type of star. If that does not destroy it it's still a good hiding place.

At least they knew it was a horrible idea to search for the spear by using ALL of it.

Seemed more like now that both are done with the new Prison Break, they can get back to teaming up on LoT.

Hopefully if they keep going with this LoD storyline they can have more villains rotating in out of the Doom.

They really have been playing to older geeks lately. How many times did they have somebody say fellowship? This episode was not quite as good as the Star Wars one, but pretty close.

I wonder if the writers have thought of what happens if/when either Damien or Snark go back to their original timelines? ... Or never do

I wonder if Mick ends up returning to the Flash next season. That could be the reason behind this villain turn for him.
