I've read a few times now, and no, can't remember the sources, that Zooey Deschanel's upward trajectory took a real hit with that stupid Siri commercial where she came off as an idiot rather than her adorkable persona.



So is that indeed the case? She did seem to fall off in overall attention and that commercial was ridiculed to all hell and gone but I never thought it was a career killer.

No. She hit her popularity but her TV show hasn't exactly been a huge hit over the years. Nothing to do with a now obscure Apple ad.
