Werewolf (1987)

Watched the pilot episode last night from bootleg DVD. Not surprised Shout had to cancel their DVD release over music rights. This episode alone had 3 hit songs. One I can't remember, "Future's So Bright" by Timbuk 3, and what probably nailed the coffin on a DVD release, "Silent Running" by Mike + The Mechanics. The entire "Silent Running" is played in a long scene that begins in a bar, moves to the parking lot, and ends with werewolf attack.
Hadn't seen this show since first aired. Forgot about the bounty guy.

One of my favorite shows from the 80's.

I remember this. Pretty much a knock-off of the old Incredible Hulk tv series, wan't it?

Which was a knock-off of The Fugitive. "Man on the Run" is it's own genre. Another variation was The Immortal. Christopher George has something in his blood that he never grows old and never gets sick. Transfusions heal people but wear off. An aging billionaire is hunting him down. The billionaire wants to lock him up and get periodic transfusions to live forever.

The werewolf special make-up effects were also top notch from Greg Cannom.
