Figured I'd make a thread for this. Because why not. McDowell wrote/directed The One I Love a couple years ago, and this is a Netflix movie -- not sure if it's going to theaters at all or not.
Director: Charlie McDowell
Stars: Jason Segel, Jesse Plemons, Rooney Mara, Riley Keough, Robert Redford
Synopsis: One year after the existence of the afterlife is scientifically verified, millions around the world have ended their own lives in order to “get there”. A man and woman fall in love while coming to terms with their own tragic pasts and the true nature of the afterlife. Coming to Netflix March 31.
I get a Utopia vibe from it.

Even though it's free, I am curious what the reviews will be like. They should start rolling in sometime in the next week.

Pretty bad reviews and a glowing one from Richard Roeper. This was added to Netflix last week.
I mostly really liked it.

I meant to watch this over the weekend but didn't have time. I hope to get to it this week.

Just finished this. Pretty meh overall.
Really good concept, but I think the payoff was pretty underwhelming, with everything seeming pretty under baked.
I think it was too big of an idea for under 2 hours. Could have been a good mini-series.
Acting was solid for what they were working with, but it felt rushed and not enough time to identify with any of the characters. Shame, because I really dig the idea.
