My Direct TV-Down Again

Oh look at all of the college and pro football games on the next few days.

Oh look-My Direct TV stopped working and 775 appears on the screen.

I unplugged a few things and plugged them back in with no results.

This happened(775) about three months ago. They came out two or three times and finally fixed the problem.

Good thing I have back-up-Charter/Direct TV Now.

Checking the NFL tv schedule for Detroit tomorrow-Fox/CBS double headers along with the Packers/Det Loser Lions game tomorrow night.

I can catch an additional game on the computer since I have NFL Sunday Ticket.

I guess I will call them and I wish they would just replace the entire dish because it's 2 years old and have had nothing but problems lately.

Re: My Direct TV-Down Again

Now it's 771 on one tv and 775 on the rest.

I called and they won't be here until Wednesday. They are supposed to give me a discount because I will be missing NFL Sunday Ticket.

They are going to change the SWiM box. They should have done that the first time. If they are so confident that will fix the problem why don't they just mail it.

I don't understand the point of this thread. So your Directv is out. That shit happens all the time. What exactly are you aiming for from this forum?

Re: My Direct TV-Down Again

Did I mention I LOVE having a local cable TV company? I'm not talking a national conglomerate with a local office, I mean an actual LOCAL company. Sure, I may not get all the frills the cool kids have, but I can drive to their office if there is a problem. Hell, the local trouble man lives around the corner from me!

Headed back to my covered wagon now ...

You can come over to my house DVD-4-life. I don't watch college football at all (no bowl games) and I don't get every NFL game. But I make some mean dips and my signal is working.

Don't know what to think about someone named "dvd-4-life" having any sort of pay TV at all...

Several networks are currently blacked out on Dtv as there is ongoing contract disputes.

Fox, NBC and Abc are off the air in many areas.

Re: My Direct TV-Down Again

Is DirectTV that much cheaper than cable that it's worth the crap? Last time my cable went out was 1998. Never lost a channel over money dispute.

I got it for NFL Sunday Ticket plus they carry just about all the regional sport's networks, except for CSN Philly.
