Was there ever a Blu-ray version of this which wasn't horrendous? Wasthe Best Buy exclusive any better? Can it still even be found?

The German release is supposed to be "slightly" better and it's all regions. However, from what I can find, the master is in poor shape and hence why all versions of this sucker are substandard. That's a shame, I remember the movie quite vividly and it deserved far better treatment.

Easily Jet's best English-language film. So there's no good choice? Oh, incidentally, did Magnet ever corrected the District 13 subtitles?
