Lukas Graham's “7 Years” is the worst song of 2016
It feels like Ed Sheeran if he had the talent of the worst member of Magic!. It's trite, it's maudlin, it's Nordic in all the bad ways, and it's fucking inescapable. I keep hearing it at least once a week. It has 426 million views on YouTube and each one of those views has made the planet worse.
Yes, technically it was released in late 2015, but if your ear is so close to the ground on this kind of music (what do you read, Danish Five for Fighting fanblogs?), this thread is not for you.
