Best Buy 2016 Black Friday Ad

http://blackfriday.bestbuy.com/?ref=...ry=doorbusters

Main thing that caught my eye was X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut for $4 each.

Re: Best Buy 2016 Black Friday Ad

I just realized you can click on the Shop Now buttons in the sections to see all of the titles that are going to be those prices, ie you can see all the titles that are going to be 3.99.
3.99 Blu-ray
5.99 Blu-ray
6.99 Blu-ray
8.99 Blu-ray
9.99 Blu-ray
17.99 UHD

EDIT: Added 8.99 and 9.99 links

Damn, alot of good options...if only I didn't already own them. This is one of those times where I hate how impatient I am. Paid double and triple the price, and haven't even watched them since I bought them

Just a heads up, when I followed the $17.99 UHD link, the first six titles are already on sale for $17.99 right now.

There are actually some great titles in the $5.99 and $6.99 lists. Better than the last two Black Fridays.

Re: Best Buy 2016 Black Friday Ad

Best Buy is stepping up this year. Most if not all of the blus I am inclined to buy have their best price here, compared to Target and Walmart.

Ash vs Evil Dead S1 is gonna be 9.99, luckily there wasn't anything to combine it with in that BOGO a couple weeks ago.

Thanks! Initial thoughts:

$3.99
Possibly an upgrade of Edward Scisorhands

$5.99
Possibly Walking Dead S1

$6.99
nothing

$8.99
nothing

$9.99
nothing

Great prices, no titles I really care about; but I'm getting old...........

Re: Best Buy 2016 Black Friday Ad

I had a great experience with them last year, other than the fact I didn't get slip covers for everything. Buying from them online allowed to me sit out on the Amazon LDs, which was cool not having to plan around some of them.

Will be pulling early morning triggers this year too.

Re: Best Buy 2016 Black Friday Ad

*IF* these are available for online purchase I may go for:

$3.99
How to Train your Dragon 2
Spy
The Princess Bride (depends on how "bad" my DVD looks - have to check)
The Evil Dead (again - have to check DVD quality before deciding)

$5.99
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
Exodus: Gods and Kings
Pixels
How to Train Your Dragon
Fantastic Four

$6.99 & up
There are a few in the "higher" price points I'm somewhat interested in but not for the prices charged.

If they're not available for online purchase I'll take my chances with Amazon LD "sales" as there's nothing in their ad to make me want to actually leave the house.

Re: Best Buy 2016 Black Friday Ad

This year I will go on Friday morning after the dust has settled. Best Buy had plenty of great stuff still on the shelf last year. I got both "Band of Brothers" and "The Pacific" in the steel tins for just $9.99 each—THAT was a steal! I also got "Black Sails Season I and 2" for a paltry $9.98 each as well...and that was nearly 24 hours after the Thanksgiving hoarders had retreated.

On second thought, the only title I am remotely interested in is "Tarzan in 3D" ...I think I will stay home.

The Black Friday ad shows Star Trek: The 50th Anniversary with no price. Any idea what that's all about?

Re: Best Buy 2016 Black Friday Ad

Maybe Tarzan, Central Intelligence and Conjuring 2 if I can squeeze in there Thursday.

Main thing I'm interested in is a potential TV upgrade to a 40-50 inch 4K TV possibly.

I'm sick. I missed most of the Ice Age movies and Kung Fu Panda. Woke up at 2am and it was already sold out. Damn naps lol.

Update: BB has re-stocked everything sold out (that I've looked at anyway), except Kung Fu Panda 1.

Got everything I wanted in-store! Was pretty nutty in the Media Section.

Picked up Midnight Special (BD), Lights Out (BD) and American Horror Story: Hotel (DVD).

Saw both in-store tonight. Stock does not seem to be an issue there, at all.
