I haven't gotten any DVDs or Blu Rays at Target since early in the year. But finally something came along to get me out to the store: Archer S6. Got it with Cartwheel for under seven bucks. Happy with that.

I saw a Fox TV DVD endcap, facing the back wall, with everything at $7.99. Included all three seasons of The Americans, Modern Family S3-6 (I think), 4 seasons of The Simpsons. Nothing too exciting imo, but it's probably worth a look for people in the store anyway.

Meanwhile, it looks like the media section has been reduced again. At my store they cut out one side of the TV area, so 5 full shelves plus 1 half one.

Blind bought seasons one and two, but have only watched the first three episodes (S1). It's not compelling me to watch.

I've blind bought a bunch of TV shows (don't have cable); "Awkward", "Archer", "Battlestar Galactica", "Boardwalk Empire", "Dexter", "Dirk Gently", "Drunk History", "The Expanse", "Game Of Thrones", "Gene Simmons: Family Jewels", "The Girls Next Door", "Halt And Catch Fire", "Helix", "Humans", "Lost Girl", "Mad Men", "Magic City", "Marco Polo", "Masters Of Sex", "Party Down", "Penny Dreadful", "Pretty Little Liars", "Robot Chicken", "Shameless", "Teen Wolf", "True Blood", "The Walking Dead" and "Weeds" to name just a few.

I've been mostly lucky with my TV show purchases. So I'm due for a dud.

Perhaps it gets better.

I rather liked The Americans from the start, but I have seen a fair number of people in the past saying that they do think it gets better as it goes along. Season 3 not receiving any Emmy noms. (outside of Margo Martindale) resulted in enough negative reaction that there were a lot more nominations for Season 4.

Of course it might just not be a good fit for you. We can't all like everything.

I picked up the last 2 seasons of The Simpsons that made it to disc. this completes my collection of all of the seasons on disc. I also picked up seasons 9 and 10 of Bones for the same 7.99 price.
