Isn't this supposed to be the episode that changes everything? The one we are supposed to be waiting for? I'm very curious.

I believe so. Should be interesting to see how they transition from one story to the next if this is indeed the episode and there is a big switch/twist.

Murphy says it is the biggest twist in the history of the series.

The "twist" was very predictable, and overhyped. Murphy should have kept his mouth shut on this one.
Good episode, though. I feel like trying a new format has breathed some life into a show that was getting kinda stale.

Or did I miss something? Also is something supposed to happen when they completed it? I don't remember.

No, the "twist" is that the actors from the reenactment scenes are now characters themselves. Sarah Paulson is playing a British actress who married Evan Peters' character after the show wrapped up, Lily Rabe's character hooked up with the actor playing her husband in the reenactment, Kathy Bates' character went psycho as a result of the role, etc

Good pivot. I like it. I suspected it was going to pivot to the 'behind the scenes'.
I still thought it was going to turn into something bigger. But this isn't the first time I was hoping that with AHS.

The problem is that the general public already knows about supernatural stuff being real in this universe. Remember that the witches from Coven went public and made the news. I think they even referenced that in Hotel last season. Or does the public just not buy into that stuff?

I think it would be cool if Lady Gaga played herself. As in, she took the reenactment acting gig as a side project to her music. And now, like how playing The Butcher caused Kathy Bates' character to go off the deep end, having played The Witch is messing with Lady Gaga as she returns to her music career. Or would that be too meta?

I too was hoping for something more like the Roanoke folks followed them home and started killing them. Since I'm not at all a fan of this found footage, fake Big Bother like reality show idea, I'm actually less interested in this than before. Thankfully there is always hope that they improve things if there is a next season.

Isn't that what's kinda happening already? The possession? I don't think for a minute that Kathy Bates is playing a character who's merely mentally unstable.

This "revolutionary" twist was fairly predictable. Worse than hdnmickey' feelings on Big Brother and found footage (which I share) is the matter of the characters all came off as insufferable twats. I was much more invested in them before this episode ... They were all reduced to one-note cannon fodder in this episode.
I'm sorry, nobody who went through something like that is EVER going back for ANY reason. I can believe the "actors" would (they didn't experience anything), but not their "real" counterparts. This leads me to believe the big twist at the end is that NONE of it was real and it was ALL a faked TV show (possible twist on that - the producer does kill everybody and claims he was possessed).
The only thing of interest from here out is "who is the one survivor?" Is that enough to overcome the characters sudden turn towards single-cell brains? I'm not sure it is. I'll continue to let it record, but won't make it a "must watch".

I'm guessing the producer is the one behind the actual killings and supposed supernatural events. It will be revealed the site wasn't haunted at all.
