SEASON PREMIERE
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW
"Out of Time" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-14, DLV) (HDTV)
LOST AND FOUND - GUEST STARRING STEPHEN AMELL - After the defeat of the immortal villain Vandal Savage and the exposure of the corrupt Time Masters, a new threat emerges. Dr. Nate Heywood (Nick Zano), an unconventional and charming historian, is thrust into the action. After making a shocking discovery, Nate seeks out Oliver Queen (guest star Stephen Amell) for help in finding the scattered Legends. Once reunited, the Legends continue their new mission to protect the timeline from temporal aberrations - unusual changes to history that spawn potentially catastrophic consequences. Their first stop is 1942 to protect Albert Einstein from being kidnapped before the Nazis destroy New York City with a nuclear bomb. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) notices that Sara (Caity Lotz) has a mission of her own, which leads them both to face her nemesis, Damien Darhk (guest star Neal McDonough). Victor Garber, Arthur Darvill, Dominic Purcell and Franz Drameh also star. Dermot Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Phil Klemmer and Greg Berlanti & Chris Fedak (#201). Original airdate 10/13/2016.

This most definitely should not go more than 13 episodes.

The CW has Riverdale, iZombie and The 100 waiting for timeslots.
I would be really surprised if this got more episodes. I could see maybe 3 more for 16 like season 1 (if ratings warrant it), but no way this gets a full season.

There is also 'The Originals' waiting for a slot too right or was that canceled?

Holy fucking shit, that was awesome!!
Oliver Queen, Nazis, Nuclear threat, Damien Dahrk, Dinosaurs and even Reverse Flash
and to add icing on the cake the JSA.
Wow, that a fucking blast loved it. Great humor as well.
at Sara Lance corrupting the women of 1693 Salem.
at Caveman Ray being chased by a T-Rex.
Liked the new guy. Dr. Heywood. Seems like a good addition to the team and replacement for the Hawk duds. I guess this means Rip Hunter is in limbo for awhile.

Solid return numbers - 0.6 in the demo and 1.84 million viewers. That's very cloase to the S1 finale (0.7 demo, 1.85 million viewers).
I wonder if some Flash viewers will hear about the presence of Reverse Flash on Legends of Tomorrow and tune in?

I haven't had a chance to watch it yet but I hope it's not like the first season where it started off awesome and then turned into total shit.

I was ready to skip it this season but damn that first episode was a doozy! I was kind of hoping Rip was gone for good as the new historian dude seems to fill his role.

I was thinking about a speedster appearing in the show last season what with all the time traveling plots in The Flash. It only made sense.
Great episode.

Hand-wave Oliver finding a hatch on the Waverider but otherwise a solid episode but expected the rescues to take a bit longer than that ...

They got rid of Rip Hunter!! The Reverse Flash sighting was a nice surprise.
This episode had a lot of action in it and they made sure every character was using their powers/skills in battle.
They did absolutely butcher the entire historical accuracy of Einstein. He would have had almost no idea how to engineer a nuclear bomb and had no direct input in its making. The construction of the first nukes were led by teams of scientists headed by men like Enrico Fermi. Einstein's role in this episode made no sense from our historical perspective.
I won't even address the idea his wife was a partner that helped discover his theories. It would be like saying Jackie Kennedy was President with JFK.
