COOL to see RAGMAN in action.
I didn't quite hear his origin story, I found it difficult to understand him with the mask on.
Was it Jewish based?

With Diggle's unit going rogue and betraying him, we're probably close to him coming back and re-joining Team Arrow.
Not familiar with the Ragman character, but it was interesting seeing it in action.
It's only been 2 episodes, but it does feel more like earlier Arrow than the crowded and overstuffed version of the last few seasons. I do like seeing Oliver just taking out the bad guys and not over-thinking it. Felicity is actually more likable now being the wise cracking sidekick than Oliver's love interest.
I don't think the flashbacks were really mandatory, but they did sort of explain Oliver's past with the Russian mob. Especially when his tie-in with them was brought up in season 2?
Quentin Lance does feel like an extraneous character now. With Sara away, Laurel dead and him being out of the SCPD, he really is serving no purpose. Although Thea did offer him that job as Deputy Mayor. What is her role again with Oliver? Seems like she's acting as his Chief of Staff.

The stuff with Dig is dumb. If he isn't in Star City, I don't care.

Yes, Ragman is one of the few overtly Jewish superheroes in the DCU, and has been around since the '70s. Rory's powers are based in Jewish mysticism, tied closely to a Golem. His costume is made of rags which consists of the souls of evil-doers. Each soul absorbs damage inflicted upon Rory, so while he feels pain he can survive it, and is mostly invulnerable. Much like The Spectre he seeks vengeance upon others. He is a magic user, super-strong/agile and has limited flight.

I enjoyed this one a lot, as it added some much-needed humour back to the Arrowverse. And Ragman - damn, if I had a list of the 10 obscure superheroes least likely to make it to the screen, he'd be right up there. Quite cool to see where they go with him and I like the look a lot.
I did find him a little hard to understand too, along with Alchemy on Flash... they need to give up the idea that some computer super-distorted voice is all that impressive any more.

Ragman isn't even a tenth as obscure as Wild Dog His series back in the day was pretty cool.
Good episode. Arrow feels like it's on much surer footing this season.
Felicity needs to strut around in those tight short dresses much more often. The curves on that girl...

Ashamed to admit I did buy Wild Dog "back in the day." Also liked Ragman in the recent Shadowpact series? Cool to see him involved.

Seeing Ragman in live action was cool. I thought they did a decent effort on his FX for a TV show.
Ragman would occasionally appear in Batman comics.
I thought it was super obvious from the beginning that Oliver would reveal his identity almost immediately to the rookies.
For the first time in eons the flashback actually worked. That whole bell training segment was brutal and revealed what Ollie went through before coming back.

I do wonder if it's story line coincidence or intentional that she spent all last year bitching about Oliver keeping secrets, and she is now in a relationship with random guy X where she can tell him virtually nothing about who she is and what she does.
