Hammer 8 movie set for $42 shipped at DDD
Title says it all.
The 8 movie Hammer horror collection for $41.99 at DeepDiscount shipped.
It is backordered, but I am assuming they will honor this price when it becomes available.
That turns out to be about $5/movie - as cheap as I think this set will get.

Not to rain on your parade, but you can actually get this set via Barnes & Noble for just $39.77 minus the 20% off coupon F7V8H7U it brings it to $31.82 w/o tax...free shipping too. I placed my order on Thursday and it arrived yesterday. Barnes & Noble has kicked it up more than a few notches. I almost never order from Amazon any longer—they just suck.

If it ever stays in stock long enough to order. It was in stock last night and I added 30 to my cart just to check and it basically cut me to 2 max which I guess was the amt of warehouse stock. About 30 minutes later is was OOS again. It's been the same price for several weeks so hopefully it will continue that through October and hope that the stock stays.
I think Amazon either is OOS and only their Ebay-lite sellers have it.

I would never assume you'd get a backordered item from Deep Discount. That store is notorious for canceling orders that are backordered. It has happened to me a number of times.

Mine just shipped....still not a bad value for $41, though $31 certainly would have been nicer.... I wanted this set so bad I was willing to pay $50 for it, so am happy.

Picked this up from B&N.com a few days ago for $32 (with the 20% off coupon). Looking forward to checking these out. I have seen many of the more popular Hammer films, but many of these are new to me.

Yeah... it really gets under my skin that Amazon doesn't offer a price guarantee window like almost every other major retailer. WM offers it, as does Target, BB, and more, so why not Amazon? Guess I'll file it with my CC company as they offer "Price Match/Guarantee" for 60 days after purchase.

Best Buy currently has this set in-store. Saw it marked for $41.99 but the site has a sale price of $34.99.
