Guest starring are Jason O'Mara as the Director, Gabriel Luna as Robbie Reyes, Briana Venskus as Agent Piper, Nico David as boy, John Churchill as father, Adrian Quinonez as Ignacio, Jen Kuo Sung as Chen, Daniel Zacapa as Canelo, Lilli Birdsell as Lucy, Dan Donohue as Frederick, Ward Roberts as Hugo, Usman Ally as Vincent, Deren Tadlock as armed S.H.I.E.L.D. guard and Mark Daneri as Wisconsin congressman.

So the new director is some kind of Inhuman. Interesting.
Maybe I missed it, but refresh my memory, how did May get sick?
We got a couple of throw away references in this episode. One to Steve Rogers being AWOL and the other to Peggy Carter being one of the founders.

Seems like all the supernatural stuff is going to tie into (probably indirectly) to Dr. Strange.

Someone explain to me how Robbie Reyes ties in with the original Ghost Rider and Doctor Strange (if he does)? I'm a bit lost when it comes to the later Marvel stuff.

it's not a clean answer... and well... he, from what I remember isn't connected w/ Strange in the comics yet.

I noticed a local channel started showing rerun episodes of season 1 last night.
This made it to syndication?
I still watch the show, but I don't know if I'd ever need to revisit any of it.

She's been popping those SHIELD bone healing pills, but it looks like using her powers aggravates the problem.
I'm more tired of the loner with the "I'm doing what I have to do and can't explain why even though it's not really that complicated" plot already.
After watching this and Civil War, I'm beginning to think the whole Hydra destroying SHIELD completely storyline was a big mistake. That, and Victoria Hand would make a far better foil as the new director than this new guy, who may or may not be a nod to an obscure golden age hero.

Yes, but I doubt those pills work instantly even if we had seen her take one (which we didn't), and she had just used her powers to both break her bonds and land on the car which should have aggravated the fracture.
